Naming Ceremony

Congratulations

…on welcoming a new life into your household!

I know the experience can bring untold delights as well as the odd challenge. Hang on in there!

And what better way to introduce your new baby to the world than a Naming Ceremony?

Naming Ceremony Ideas

You can make promises to this wee life about how you will bring them up. And get your friends and family to take new roles as Guardians, Watchers, or God Parents.

This is also a lovely time to mark with the planting of a tree or flowers or beginning to look back into your own history, so you have stories from ‘before’ to tell your youngster as they grow up.

And one of the best parts of this ceremony is it can happen anywhere: your garden, your favourite patch of river under the shady tree, or in your local where you first met your partner and your own family story began to unfurl.

Welcome to the Family Ceremony

Well done on becoming a family!

Maybe you have long-term fostered or adopted your youngsters and want them to feel that they are permanent fixtures in your life?

Or maybe you were once two families and you have now become one, and you want to mark this moment as a new leaping off point?

Well, a Welcome to the Family Ceremony could very well be the one for you.

Welcome Ceremony Ideas

You guide the content of the ceremony, but it is essentially what it says on the tin. You make the new members of your family feel welcome through promises and expectations of family life.

You can choose music and readings that bring the energy you want in your future lives together.

You can bring poignancy and triumph by acknowledging the challenges that you have faced and confidence that you can face many more together.

A true celebration of family and what it means in your home especially when you invite someone in.

Happy couples & families.

Naming Ceremony - Leeds

We couldn’t have been happier with the service that Sarah provided. Sarah tailored it beautifully to make it personal and able to reflect our family’s personality. She’s so kind and calm which is perfect in the midst of the panic that comes with organizing any event. The ceremony went perfectly, and everyone commented on how wonderful Sarah was. Thank you for making our day so special.

Wedding - Llandegla Forest, Wales

Having a celebrant led wedding allowed us to have a tailored ceremony for both our personalities. Sarah worked with us as a couple on the ceremony and individually on a set of vows that reflected exactly how we feel about each other but in our own individual ways. Our vows were a surprise to each other on the day. Sarah was approachable from the start and instantly understood where we were coming from. It was like Sarah took our thoughts and turned them into words in ways we couldn’t have done ourselves and we wouldn’t change a thing. Sarah was supportive throughout and on the day was a calming influence. Thank you for helping make our big day so special!

Vow Renewal - St Helens, Merseyside

Sarah from the start was friendly, meeting with us a couple of times to understand us as a couple to be able to write our ceremony, and gave us the chance to change anything we were not happy with. On the day Sarah was lovely, she came to see how we were and talked us through what was to happen. Our ceremony itself which she had written was absolutely perfect, we couldn’t have asked for anything better, and we have a treasured copy she gave us to keep. I would 100% wholeheartedly recommend Sarah.
