Funerals or Celebrations of Life
I am sorry for your loss.
This can be an incredibly difficult time trying to organise a funeral at the same time as going through someone else’s life admin, all the while trying to process your own grief and maybe care for others too.

What to expect

So, to make it simple, this is what I do. I will talk to you about your loved one.
I will ask you some questions about their life and how they lived it.
I will ask you if you have any stories about them that make you smile or laugh to remember.
And I will ask you if there’s anything you want to say to them personally.
With this information, I will write a ceremony that feels like it was written by someone who knew your loved one. It will be personal, respectful, and bring smiles of remembrance.
Tell your funeral arranger you want Sarah Nelson to conduct the ceremony, give them my number, and we can arrange it from there.
Memorial Ceremonies
A Memorial Ceremony is like a funeral but there’s no coffin to focus our thoughts on, instead we focus on the person.
And with that in mind, you can create a ceremony that best celebrates them be that in speeches, music, dancing, readings, singing… You tell me what you would like to include, and the ceremony will be built around that.
A Memorial Ceremony also gives us more time to understand our feelings about what has happened and what we want to remember.

What to expect

It can take place in the deceased’s home, or a venue or place special to them or yourself.
You can have live music, food, or quiet contemplation. Whatever best celebrates your friend or relative and whatever helps you with the grieving process.
MESSAGE ME HERE and we can start to put ideas into action.
